Marriage
De la Rica says October 1878, but per Madrid archivist Urbano Melendo, "de otros libros parroquiales y de Matrículas se desprende de que D. José Besteiro Guiza falleció en 1879 . . . " If this is the case, the marriage would not have taken place until at least 1880, probably later "si guardaban luto por Don José." In addition, in Dec. 1881 she is living with her children Ricardo, Carmen, Julián and Juana. Josefa BESTEIRO GRACIANI's 1884 birth certificate states that Juana was a widow at the time of Josefa's birth in 1884: (Emilio's note: I assume this means that if Juana had married Domingo CASTEDO, that he would have died by 1884, but it seems from de la Rica's book that he lived later than this.
